Vanaf de pont krijgt u een kleurrijk welkom op de IJpromenade. Bij het nog in aanbouw zijnde Maritim Hotel zorgen tulpen voor een vrolijke noot. Tulpen sieren als vanouds de Van der Pekstraat en het Buikslotermeerplein. Ook het Zonneplein en Mercuriusplein staan vol met tulpen. From the ferry you get a colourful welcome on the IJpromenade.  Behind this, at the not yet opened huge Maritim Hotel tulips enliven the spot. Further north inwards tulips are on show in the Van der Pekstraat, at the shopping center Buikslotermeerplein and at  Zonneplein and Mercuriusplein.
