Ter gelegenheid van het tienjarig bestaan, doopte Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam in april 2025 een eigen tulp: de ‘Lady Waldorf Astoria’. Dit jaar bloeit de historisch aandoende elegante witte tulp met grote rozerode vlammen, in houten kuipen bij de entree en in de  binnentuin voor het Theehuis.

Daarnaast staan op het terras nog verschillende andere soorten tulpen in houten kuipen, allemaal gefranjerd: de rood met witte franje ‘New Santa’, de dubbele abrikooskleurige ‘Brisbane’, de geel met rode ‘Party Clown’, de dubbele roze met wit ‘Queensland’, de paarse tulp met witte voet ‘Purple Chrystal’, de dubbele lila ‘Newcastle’, de roze-oranje ‘Louvre Orange’ en de rode ‘Calibra’. Op de rand van het dak staat de geel-paars gevlamde tulp ‘Helmar’. In de volle grond zijn diverse soorten geplant: in de ovaal de ‘Lady Waldorf Astoria’, ernaast de ‘American Dream’, een zachtgeel naar rood-oranje verbloeiende tulp, tegen het pand een rand van roze met wit ‘Merilyn’, een dubbele roze ‘Marriage’ en een wit met groene tulp ‘Spring Green’. In de vierkante boomschijven staat de ‘Cape Cod’, oranje met geel. In de rozenvakken staat de gefranjerde lila met witte ‘Purple Circus’ en in de borders zitten gemengde tulpen, waaronder de oranje ‘Orange Emperor’, de paars met witte ‘Rem’s Favorite’ en de oranje-gele ‘World’s Favorite’.

To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam baptised its own, new, tulip in april 2025 the “Lady Waldorf Astoria”. At the entrance, wooden tubs are home to this  elegant white tulip with large pink-red flames, resembling a historic variety. This tulip, also grows in wooden tubs in the historic courtyard garden in front of the Tea House.

In addition, there are several other varieties of tulips in wooden tubs on the terrace, all of which are fringed: the red with white fringes “New Santa”, the double apricot-coloured “Brisbane”, the yellow with red “Party Clown”, the double pink with white “Queensland”, the purple tulip with white base “Purple Chrystal”, the double lilac “Newcastle”, the pink-orange “Louvre Orange” and the red “Calibra”. On the edge of the roof is the yellow-purple flamed tulip “Helmar”. Various varieties have been planted in the ground: in the oval, “Lady Waldorf Astoria”, next to it “American Dream”, a soft yellow to red-orange fading tulip, against the building a border of pink and white “Merilyn”, a double pink “Marriage” and a white and green tulip “Spring Green”. The square tree pits feature “Cape Cod”, orange with yellow. The rose beds feature the fringed lilac with white “Purple Circus” and the borders contain mixed tulips, including the orange “Orange Emperor”, the purple with white “Rem’s Favourite” and the orange-yellow “World’s Favorite”.
