In de tuin van het Rijksmuseum staat een fleurige overvloed aan voorjaarsbloemen. Tussen de meersoortige bloemenmengsels aan de Stadhouderskade staan de vroegbloeiende wit met rozerode tulp ‘The First’, de lila ‘Candy Prince’, de wit met donkerpaars gevlamde ‘Purple Favorite’ en de ‘Jacuzzi’ een zilverlila tulp met donkere stengel.

De meersoortige voorjaarsbloemen in de tuin reflecteren de verscheidenheid aan kunstwerken van de huidige tentoonstelling: Metamorfosen.

The garden of the Rijksmuseum is filled with a colourful abundance of spring flowers. Among the mixed varieties of flowers on Stadhouderskade are the early-blooming white and pink-red tulip “The First”, the lilac “Candy Prince”, the white with dark purple streaks “Purple Favorite” and the “Jacuzzi”, a silver-lilac tulip with a dark stem.

The multi-species spring flowers in the garden reflect the diversity of artworks in the current exhibition: Metamorphoses.

Metamorphoses brings together over 80 masterpieces from museums and collections around the world. From Bernini, Titian, Correggio, and Caravaggio to Rodin, Brancusi, Magritte, and Bourgeois.
