Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam‘s largest private garden in the canal section, you will find the most tulips of all in the city centre. Along the façade a combination of the beautiful double pink ‘Angelique’ with the pink and white lily-like tulip ‘Marilyn’ and the pink fringed ‘Fancy Frills’. Two tufts of the spectacular ‘Ice Cream’, really like an ice cream, are planted on the corners. In the grass of the oval you’ll see the pastel coloured blend of large-flowered ‘Big Ups’. If you look up you’ll see on the flat roof in front of the bees homes the striped ‘Grand Perfection’, and to the sides a mix of Triumph tulips. Around the trees ‘Quebec’ a multi flowering tulip in pink and soft yellow. Behind the statues are planted black purple ‘Queen of Night’, dark purple ‘Havran’, lilylike ‘Purple Dream’ purple ‘Kansas Proud’ and ‘Ballade’ a pink lily-like tulip with white rim and pink with white ‘Claudia’. At the end of the garden, next to the Rhododendrons, you’ll see white and pink ‘Infinity’ double purple ‘Blue Diamond’, purple ‘Negrita’, lily-like white with green ‘Spring Green’ and dark pink ‘Mariette’.
